Senator Akpabio visits Asiwaju Bola Tinubu
Barely 24 hours after paying a visit to President Buhari in London, Senate Minority Leader and former governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio has visited political bigwig, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The frequent August visits come on the heels of his imminent defection to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Akpabio who has been a force at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) reportedly plans to officially join the ruling APC in an elaborate ceremony in Akwa Ibom on Wednesday.
Emmanuel Amunike appointed as Tanzanian national team manager
Former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amunike has been appointed as manager of Tanzanian national team.
Amunike who also played for Barcelona FC signed the contract on Monday, according to the Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF).
TFF President, Wallace Karia said, “We had so many applications for the Taifa Stars job but after looking at all factors Amuneke emerged as the best candidate for the job. He has established himself and he has been successful both as a player and coach.”
Amunike will be preparing the Tanzanian national team, Tafia Stars for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
