Oby Ezekwesili unveils roadmap for 2019
Presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Obiageli Ezekwesili has announced her intentions for Nigerians if she wins in the 2019 presidential election.
The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) convener, at a gathering in Lagos on Monday, unveiled her roadmap for 2019. Ezekwesili said under her administration, fuel subsidy will cease to exist and Nigeria will be rescued.
She said, “When I read somewhere that the minister of state for petroleum resources disclosed that the federal government spends N1.3 trillion on under-recovery, which is the new name that this government has given to fuel subsidy, I was shaken.
“N1.3 trillion, as in 1.3 trillion? Let me put that figure in perspective for you. The former minister of finance told us a few months ago that the total amount that the federal government released for capital expenditure is N1.3 trillion.
I am in politics not because I need a title or need to answer Madam President. I’m in politics because there’s an urgent need to rescue our nation. This is an Operation Rescue Nigeria.
“The political elite has been governing for the political elite, or perhaps they have been ruling, not governing,” she added.

Realizing it, I made my own optic adjustment. I stopped even trying to smile.”
